Baird Wins Two Titles; Sets American Record at World Masters Indoor Championships

The 2025 World Masters Indoor Championships wrapped up in Gainesville, FL on Sunday (30-March) and USATF Utah athletes showed up in a big way! Four athletes competed in eight events over eight days, and here's the breakdown of their outstanding performances:

Marsha Baird (Lehi, UT) led the charge, earning 4 medals!

• Gold in Pentathlon (American Record: 4156 points)
• Gold in Long Jump (4.98m / 16-4¼)
• Silver in 60m Hurdles
• Silver in Javelin Throw

Mark Currell brought home a bronze in the M40-44 8 km Cross Country race! 

A narrow miss for Jamie West, who finished 4th in the W40-44 60m Hurdles, just 0.02 seconds behind the bronze medalist!
